The Rt. Hon. the Earl Grey
The 6th and present Earl Grey succeeded to the title in 1963.
He entered the House of Lords where he served as a full time active member. For a number of years he was Liberal spokesman on Social Services and the Environment. He has represented his party on many overseas tours including the USA and Canada to promote British industry and tourism, and was part of a Parliamentary Delegation to Ghana and an official observer to past elections in Zimbabwe.
He is Chairman and Director of a number of companies including the London Cremation Company plc and Chairman of the Golders Green Foundation Trust.
He has been a member of the Council since 1992.
